Hello and welcome to Camp Education in the Falkland Islands. My name is Richard Fogerty and this web site is designed to give you maximum information regarding our activities and those of your children.

For prospective or new arrival Camp Teachers: What is "Camp Education"? For the uninitiated "camp" is the outlying settlements away from the City of Stanley. The distances are vast and children can not attend the central schools, so "Camp Education" is a formalised way of distance learning with visits from traveling teachers. From a main unit in Stanley lessons are prepared and conducted over the telephone or a camp visit is arranged.
